Overview
There are two types of items in the game:
Classic Items stored in a centralized server database.
NFT Items stored on the blockchain in a decentralized manner.
In the game there are 2 inventories to differentiate the classic items from the NFT items.
Classic items
There are hundreds of classic item models in the game, including equippable items for characters, consumables like life-regenerating potions, mounts, pets, and items aiding in upgrades or mission completions.
Equippable items can be improved at the Blacksmith NPC with a decreasing chance as his quality increases.
Advantages:
Fast Transactions: Without the need to verify on a blockchain, transactions are quicker.
Centralized Control: Developers can quickly make changes or adjustments.
Database Security: Data is stored in one location, allowing for easier management.
Disadvantages:
Lack of True Ownership: Players don't truly own their items since they are centrally stored.
Potential for Loss: If the server crashes or data gets compromised, items might be lost.
Upgrade Risk: Items may be lost when the upgrade attempt fails.
Irrecoverable Expenditure: The money spent on the purchase or improvement of the items can no longer be recovered.
NFT items
NFT (Non-Fungible Tokens) items are unique assets stored on the blockchain, allowing players to truly own and control these digital entities within the game. These items come in various forms and functionalities, enhancing gameplay, character progression, and player's interaction within the in-game world.
Equippable NFT items can be improved using TCL-fe459d tokens at the Blacksmith NPC with a decreasing chance as his quality increases.
Equippable NFT Items: There are ten types of NFT items that can be equipped on characters. These items can be evolved, granting different bonuses and making the character stronger.
Staking Mechanism: Players can stake their TCL-fe459d tokens within these equippable NFT items. Depending on the amount of tokens staked, these items will generate daily rewards when players complete missions in the game.
Minting Process: These specific NFT items can only be minted using the TCL-fe459d token.
Mount and Companion NFTs: There are NFT items which, when activated, summon mounts or companions to accompany the player, enhancing the gaming experience.
Partnership Collection NFTs: These are special NFTs forming part of collections associated with project partners. Players can use these NFTs to summon a specific companion, creating an exclusive gaming experience.
Advantages:
True Ownership: Players genuinely own and control their NFT items.
Scarcity: The limited quantity of items increases their value, making them more valuable to players.
Market Value: Due to their rarity and uniqueness, these items can be sold or traded at higher values.
Immutability: Once recorded on the blockchain, the information cannot be altered or deleted.
Cross-Server Usability: NFT items can be used across multiple servers, ensuring players' investments in items are not limited to a single server environment.
Upgrade Safety: NFT Items cannot be lost when the upgrade attempt fails.
Potential Profit: The money spent on the purchase or improvement of items can be recovered by selling the NFT items on the game's marketplace or on other external marketplaces.
Rewards: NFT items with TCL-fe459d tokens can generate rewards by completing quests.
